The Beginning of TrippienessA reminder that this is vacation comes early--the reminder to slow down, relax, enjoy the moment. The reminder comes via the gigantic Arrival/Departure board that looms over our airline's check in kiosks at the airport: "Flight Delayed."
OK! We talk about the 3.5 hours we'll have to enjoy the lush garden that's nestled below the concourse walkways. When it's our turn to check in, we upgrade to business class for the 10 hour flight, and head for the airline lounge for pampered seating, a lovely garden view and access, snacks and a coffee maker that issues mochas, lattes, espressos, and regular coffee. Oh, and the lounge also has free wi-fi. It's vacation.
